As of early Thursday afternoon, Britain had evacuated approximately 900 of its citizens from Sudan via Cyprus and urged those still residing in the conflict-ravaged nation to seize the opportunity to leave during the final hours of a ceasefire.
According to airport sources, approximately 900 British Royal Air Force flight passengers had arrived at the Cypriot airport of Larnaca by early afternoon. Simply over a portion of them have been localized to England.
